Before the execution of any programme, the survey is conducted in different potential villages using PRA tools to determine the socio-economic profile, problems, and intervention action points selected for executing the programmes through on-farm testing, front-line demonstration, training, and other extension activities. After the execution of the work, an impact study is conducted to determine the changes in knowledge, skill, and attitude, the adoption of appropriate technology, the increase in productivity and income, and ultimately, the improvement in the socio-economic status of farmers and village communities.
